Central for business. Connected to the future.
By Road
Situated between the M1 and A1, which has recently been joined by the A421 dual upgrade, the area enjoys excellent access to the UK’s road network. Just 8 minutes drive from junction 13 of the M1 and 36 miles to London’s M25 orbital motorway, Bedford is home to many major businesses that chose to locate here in order to reach half of the UK population within a two hour drive. As part of the area’s growth plans, key roads will be widened and upgraded to improve access further.

To demonstrate the proximity of Bedford to the M1 Motorway and to emphasise the quick new link road (A421) between the two locations, developers Gazeley, promoting the large G Park site have shot a short video which acts as a promotional tool to encourage businesses to invest in the land available on this prime location. By Rail
The area is served by a well-connected rail service as part of the East Midlands network which runs from the new St Pancras station in London through Leicester, Derby and Nottingham to the Northern cities of Sheffield and Leeds. New trains and a host of infrastructure improvements will make journey times even faster in the coming months and years. There is a train to London every 10-15 minutes, taking just over half an hour to St Pancras, the home of Eurostar. This means that Bedford is now less than 3 hours from Paris or Brussels by train. There are also local services on the Marston Vale line to Bletchley, which will soon be linked to Milton Keynes Central.
