Enterprising Women - Flagship day

14th Aug 2006

If you are new to the Flagship award and would like to learn more about how your organisation can achieve a best practice stand for excellence in women’s enterprise development then this event is for you.

As part of the Enterprising Women programme Prowess are running a series of free Prowess Flagship Development Days for organisations in the East of England. The Flagship Award is a Best Practice Standard for excellence in women's enterprise development. It will help you to identify, measure and improve your services for women looking to start and grow businesses.

This best practice programme provides a robust and challenging, evidence based process which allows organisations to measure service delivery against an achievable set of standards. The workshop will include:

Introduction to Flagship – the standards, how they were developed, what they are, who has them. Flagship benefits –why consider ‘going’ for Flagship. The process – what you need to do to get the award. A Flagship quiz – a fun, quick and easy way to see how close you are - COSMO style!
Next steps – what do you need to do now to embark on the Flagship voyage. Q&A.

Each event will start at 10.00am through to 3.00pm and include a light buffet lunch. You are welcome to attend any (or all) of the workshops: 4th September – Henderson Business Centre, Ivy Road, Norwich NR5 8BF, hosted by NWES. 29th November – Saffron Ground, Ditchmore Lane, Stevenage, Herts SG1 3LJ hosted by Flagship members Incredit Ltd. 5 April 2007 – Cambridgeshire area, date and venue to be confirmed.
