The BDA Appoints New Chairman, Peter Hughes

The Borough Council is pleased to announce that Peter Hughes has agreed to join the Board and act as Chairman of the Bedford Development Agency.
Peter has interests in a number of companies developing projects and consulting in the renewable energy sector . He was until 2001 the managing director and chief executive officer of Powergen International Ltd (turnover $2200m). He has been involved in governmental relations, change management in the public and private sectors, strategic planning, new business development and in international mergers and acquisitions.
These are exciting times and the BDA is relishing working with Peter and taking Central For Business forward.
