Beds County Council and Tastes of Bedfordshire are sponsoring Pam Woods to facilitate a unique networking event at The Inn Woburn on 20th July (6-8pm): Business ‘Prop’ networking.
The idea came from The Biggleswade & Sandy Business Breakfast Club who were discussing new ways to network effectively. People remember visually and associating people with items is a good aid to remembering names, so the idea is to bring a 'prop' (an object related to the business) to the event. Networking also works best when people take an interest in other's businesses rather than doing a 'hard sell'. A prize will be given to the person who matches the most 'props' with businesses correctly after networking with as many people as possible to stand the best chance of winning the prize.
Members of all Pam’s clubs are invited. Food will be provided by ‘Tastes of Bedfordshire’ (Finger Buffet) to encourage the purchase of local produce and develop local sustainable food supply chains.
