Objectives: To develop a web-based waste exchange for Bedfordshire business. One business’s waste is another’s raw material. The waste will cost local businesses nothing and will be developed in partnership with BLSBP and GBN.
Activity Update: Linden recently had confirmation of success in their landfill tax bid for £50K over two years to develop a waste exchange in Bedfordshire. BLSBP were instrumental in compiling the bid with Linden and will asist in delivery of the project locally. Linden will be attending the January BLSBP meeting to discuss promotion of the scheme, recruitment of companies, project management. GBN will also be involved in the project.
