Bedford i-vita launch event sends brains into overdrive!

The Bedford Development Agency held their Sport, Fitness, Health and Well Being Conference in Unilever's Lipton Room at Colworth Park last Friday.
Alison Slatcher of the BDA commented, 'This was probably the best event we have held so far. Speakers included Olympic Gold medal winner Martin Cross, British, former Reebok Marketing Director Rob Fallow and Senior Scientist Corporate research at Unilever, Dr Jonathon Powell.' She added, 'Each speaker had a 30 minute slot to give an insight into their field and a taster for future events where some may be doing more in depth presentations.'
One of the delegates, Maggie McNerney of Charles Whitney commented: "I have worked in sports medicine for many years both from a specialist and product point of view and there were several sessions that sent the brain into overdrive!!"
The event also saw the launch of project i-vita, Bedford's new initiative to promote and engage businesses, individuals and academia within the Sport, Fitness, Health and Well Being industry sector. For more information go to: www.ivita.co.uk
