Free Language Training To Boost International Trade
28th Jun 2005
Companies in Bedfordshire can take advantage of a FREE business language training programme in French, Spanish, German, Chinese or Italian. The World Class Skills for Management project is funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund and the Learning and Skills Council and is an initiative of the University of Luton. The courses will be delivered at Saturn Facilities, Manton Lane, Bedford and at the University of Luton from September. The programme aims to give employees from small and medium enterprises (i.e. companies that employ no more than 250 employees) a basic business grounding in the language to help them communicate in Europe and beyond. Courses take place for one afternoon/evening a week for 24 weeks and lead to recognised business language qualifications. To find out more about the programme, contact Liz Littler on 0771 4450844 or email liz.littler@luton.ac.uk quoting World Class Skills for Management.
