Grow Your Business Through Franchising
1st Nov 2006
The latest NatWest/British Franchising Association survey highlights that 54% of UK franchise systems have a presence in East Anglia and franchising contributes £0.41 billion of the region’s implied annual turnover. In recognition of the growing interest in franchising in the region, the British Franchise Association (bfa) has partnered with CREATE to bring their Prospective Franchisor two-day workshop to Bedford on 7th - 8th November.
The seminar is designed to assist businesses in independently evaluating franchising as a tool for growing their business. If you think your organisation is ready to take the next step and expand, franchising could be a very realistic option.
There are a number of important considerations to factor into the decision to franchise your own business and the seminar, which is taking place at The Bedford Swan Hotel, will take potential franchisors through the all important steps in a two-day intensive programme.
Dan Archer, Head of Marketing at the BFA comments, "For anyone who already has an existing business and is thinking of expanding, franchising could be an ideal mechanism for growth. It is important to understand the ins and outs of franchising before you decide whether it is right for your business model, and this is what the workshop aims to do."
There are now 759 business format franchise systems in the UK - a growth of 60% since 1995 when there were 474 franchise systems in place.
