Kerry Ixer of Screen East was a popular speaker at the BDA networking lunch at Woodlands Manor in August. Kerry made an urgent call for Beds based businesses to register with Screen East as a supplier or location to film shoots in the area... More blockbusters will be filming locally soon!!
Kerry pesented some inspiring statistics - £5.9 million was spent in the Bedford area alone over 2004/5 when Batman Begins decided to film in Hanger 2 at Cardington. Other popular locations in Beds were: Heath & Reach Quarry, Wrest Park Gardens, Millbrook test track and Luton airport.
