As part of the Business Environmental Training Initiative (BETI), a major event is being held to coincide with World Environment Day. The event will bring together many government and environmental agencies in the UK, including the DTI and Environment Agency. They intend to address delegates concerning the current and future impact of environmental issues on business and the wider economy. There will also be an exhibition involving companies from the environmental technology sector. Attendance at the event is free to local companies, although places are limited - so book early!
