Eleven entrepreneurs pitch at BDA Deal Day

11 Entrepreneurs pitched to a panel of 8 investors for funds for their business ventures at the Bedford i-Lab on February 16th.
The Deal Day was an opportunity for local entrepreneurs with a business idea or plans for growth to pitch to bonafide investors. Investors included Adelphi Funding, Create, Cambridge Angels, Beer and Partners and Advantage Business Angels. HSBC and The Royal Bank of Scotland also offered assistance. Cambridge entrepreneur and Professor, Alan Barrell chaired 11 lively and professional presentations from a wide range of business types from telecoms to equine nutrition to a personal development and introductions business. Danny Stijelja of Eye Marketing said “Thanks for allowing me an opportunity to present my idea at such short notice. I got to meet interested parties that offered sound advice and met other businesses that may have a positive influence or impact on what I was promoting. I was particularly impressed with the willingness of those present and those organizing the event to offer advice and additional help”.
