So far the Borough Council has held four consultation exhibitions (October 2001, May 2002, May 2004 and April 2008) in the Town Centre to give everyone the chance to comment on the latest proposals to redevelop and improve the Town Centre area.
In addition to these, the preferred developers for the three key sites in the town have also held separate pre-planning exhibitions.
