Commitment upon Board members is to share the desire to make Bedford a better place to live and work. Board meetings occur three or four times a year where discussion takes place on moving the area's economy forward and formulating initiatives to help attract investment to Bedford.
The Agency’s Chair is Peter Hughes, a local business leader with interests in a number of companies developing projects and consulting in the renewable energy sector. He was until 2001 the managing director and chief executive officer of Powergen International Ltd (turnover $2200m).
